Celebrate the Absurd: Hey all you freaks:

Ever feel like there just aren’t enough holidays to celebrate?

Jealous of those friends on Facebook that seem to get the memo about that national holiday you’ve never even heard of much less celebrate?

Do you want to BE that friend on Facebook?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you’re out of luck.

JUST KIDDING, you’ve come to just the right place.

Who doesn’t want every day to be a holiday? That’s whyKatieandAllydecided to start celebrating all of the holidays we never knew existed! From here on out, we will be taking part in and documenting the strangest holidays we can find. These crazy things include but are not limited to Hairstyle Appreciation Day, Lumpy Rug Day, Lost Sock Memorial Day, and “Bubba” Day.

AND since we’re feeling~~like we could use more friends~~generous, now you can celebrate with us! I’ve been itching to make a video though, so we’ll see what happens in the next few weeks here. Hopefully, this summer when more people are home from school, I’ll have some more help and can make some stuff that isn’t just me!

Sophomore year of high school, reliving my awkward tween years by going to a Hanson concert. That was the first time I heard about TOMs. It’s now five years later and I’m 90% sure the TOMs tan on my feet are permanent, not that I’m complaining. The moment I heard about the company’s mission, I knew it was worth defending. The reality is, is that TOMs made me realize my life’s mission was to impact others.
